NovaX Studios Discord bots
Privacy Policy
Last updated: 20 October 2026
Discord bots covered by this policy are designed not to collect or retain personal data. They do not create user profiles, provide dashboards or maintain a NovaX database of Discord users.
1. Who this policy applies to
This policy applies to Discord bots commissioned, provided or operated by NovaX Studios Ltd. that link to this page. NovaX Studios Ltd. is a private limited company based in the United Kingdom and is responsible for the bot functionality described here.
2. Information visible during an interaction
When a person uses a bot command, button or other bot feature, Discord sends the bot the limited information needed to process that interaction. Depending on the feature, this may include:
- a Discord user ID, username, display name or avatar;
- server, channel, role or permission information;
- the command, message or other content submitted to the bot; and
- basic interaction metadata supplied by Discord.
The bot may technically see and process this information while responding, but NovaX does not configure the bot to save it to an application database or use it to build a profile. Interaction information is handled only for the time required to provide the requested feature.
3. How information is used
Limited Discord information is processed solely to respond to a requested command, operate an engagement feature, apply the permissions configured in a server, and return the requested result. It is not sold, used for advertising, used for profiling or shared by NovaX for unrelated purposes.
The legal basis for this transient processing is the legitimate interest in providing the bot feature that the user or server administrator has requested, subject to the rights and expectations of Discord users.
4. No dashboards, accounts or tracking
NovaX bots covered by this policy do not provide external user dashboards, create separate NovaX accounts, place website cookies or use advertising analytics. A user's Discord account remains managed by Discord.
5. Direct messages
Some bots may include a feature capable of sending a direct message. Where that feature is available, it is initiated or configured by the Discord user or server administrator using the bot. NovaX does not manually select individual recipients or independently direct those messages. The person using the feature is responsible for using it lawfully, respectfully and with any permission that may be required.
6. Retention and deletion
NovaX does not intentionally retain the Discord personal data described above after the relevant interaction has been completed. Because no persistent user profile or application database is created, NovaX will ordinarily have no stored bot record to delete. A person may nevertheless contact us if they have a concern or believe information has been retained unexpectedly.
7. Discord's separate processing
Discord operates the platform and processes information under its own terms and privacy policy. NovaX does not control Discord's collection, storage or retention of platform information. Please review the Discord Privacy Policy for details. NovaX bots are third-party applications and are not endorsed by or affiliated with Discord.
8. Data protection rights
Depending on the law that applies, a person may have rights relating to access, correction, deletion, restriction or objection. Requests and privacy questions may be sent to contact@novaxstudios.art. We may need enough information to understand and verify the request, but will not ask for information that is unnecessary for that purpose.
9. Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated when a bot's functionality, legal requirements or Discord's platform rules change. The current version and its last-updated date will be published on this page.
