NovaX Studios Discord bots
Terms of Service
Last updated: 20 October 2026
NovaX Studios Discord bots provide non-harmful engagement and community features. They may be used by anyone who may lawfully use Discord and has the permissions required for the relevant server or feature.
1. Provider and acceptance
These Terms of Service apply to Discord bots commissioned, developed, provided or operated by NovaX Studios Ltd. By installing, authorising or using a bot that links to these terms, you agree to follow them. If you do not agree, do not use the bot.
2. Availability
The bots are intended for general use by Discord users and communities. Use remains subject to Discord's eligibility rules, the permissions assigned by a server owner or administrator, and any law that applies to the user. No fee is charged merely for accepting these terms unless a separate written arrangement expressly states otherwise.
3. Purpose of the bots
Bot features are designed for non-harmful engagement, entertainment and community functionality. They are not designed for safety-critical, emergency, financial, medical or legal decision-making. Feature descriptions may be updated as a bot evolves.
4. Acceptable use
You must not use a bot to:
- break the law, Discord's rules or another person's rights;
- harass, threaten, impersonate, defraud or deliberately harm another person;
- send spam or unsolicited messages;
- bypass Discord permissions, privacy choices or security measures;
- attempt to disrupt, reverse engineer or gain unauthorised access to the bot; or
- submit content that you do not have the right to use or transmit.
Access may be limited or withdrawn where reasonably necessary to protect users, Discord communities, the bot or NovaX Studios Ltd.
5. User-controlled direct messages
Some bots may provide a feature capable of sending direct messages. The Discord user or server administrator who invokes or configures that feature controls its use. NovaX does not manually select recipients or independently direct individual messages. The person using the feature is responsible for the recipients selected, the content supplied, any required permission or consent, and compliance with Discord's rules.
6. User responsibility
You are responsible for the commands, settings, content and choices you submit through a bot and for reviewing the result before relying on or sharing it. Server owners and administrators are responsible for configuring appropriate permissions and deciding whether a bot is suitable for their community.
7. Availability and changes
Bots are provided on an “as available” basis. NovaX may maintain, change, suspend or discontinue a bot or feature, including where Discord changes its platform or where continued operation would create a security, legal or technical concern. Continuous, error-free or uninterrupted availability is not guaranteed.
8. Disclaimers and liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, NovaX Studios Ltd. is not responsible for a user's misuse of a bot, user-supplied content, user-selected recipients, server configuration or consequences caused by using a feature contrary to these terms, Discord's rules or applicable law.
NovaX does not exclude or limit liability where doing so would be unlawful, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or rights that cannot legally be excluded. Nothing in these terms removes any mandatory consumer rights that apply to you.
9. Discord
Discord is a third-party platform governed by its own terms and policies. NovaX is not responsible for Discord's availability, decisions, data practices or platform changes. The bots are not endorsed by or affiliated with Discord.
10. Governing law and contact
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, subject to any mandatory protections available under the law of the country in which a consumer lives. Questions may be sent to contact@novaxstudios.art.
